Procrastination is the fuel for blog posting. I decided to stay up to reset my sleep schedule and to get some work done but I’m too tired to concentrate at this point.. Writing gibberish in a blog is infinitely less destructive than doing so in my paper!
So parkour.. I was dragged along to a class by a friend, and surprisingly, it was ok and kind of fun. You never know how high you can jump until you actually try it, I guess.
The problem is, it takes so much energy to do anything in that class that I’ve only gone to two classes so far… Mostly because I usually don’t feel up to expending that much energy. I think yoga’s still more my speed.
If you don’t know what parkour is, youtube will explain it far better than I can.
[insert youtube video later.. For the impatient, here's a link:
I just found out that one of my photos were included in some sort of map/guide publication (?) called Schmap. I think this is the direct link to it.
While it’s pretty exciting, I think it’s less the quality of the picture and more the availability of pictures for People’s Cafe (since there were no other pictures for that spot). Speaking of which, they have great mexican hot cocoa and turkey wraps.. go try it sometime!
To be honest, I feel like they picked the worst picture I took from that location :p At least two other pictures showed more of the cafe and would be more representative of how the cafe looks…
Well, getting picked for being the only one with a picture from a location is better than not getting picked at all, right?
